Job summary

AFMOI is seeking a seasoned production scheduler in Chennai to plan and control manufacturing work centres based on capacity, driving on-time completion of orders and adjusting plans to meet predicted delivery dates.

The role requires a BE/BTech in Electrical or Mechanical with 5+ years of relevant experience, plus the ability to validate plans against actuals and coordinate material availability.

Qualifications

• B.E Electrical or Mechanical with 5+ years of relevant experience.

• Develop production schedule for work centres based on capacity.
• Validate Plan vs Actual and resolve gaps to ensure on-time delivery.
• Work to workout shortages and ensure availability of input materials, tools, machines.
• Check in-house capacity vs monthly dispatch plan and initiate contingency actions.

Job description

Validate Plan vs Actual and resolve gaps to ensure on time delivery of the production orders as per
the plan/schedule.
To workout shortages, follow up and ensure the availability of input materials, tools, machines etc.
as per the released dispatch plan.
To check in-house capacity in comparison with the monthly dispatch plan and initiate contingency actions wherever warranted.
