Job summary

LANXESS Deutschland GmbH in Jhagadia is seeking an entry-level to mid-level production specialist to execute production as per plan while monitoring unit operation parameters and maintaining batch records. The role requires coordinating with maintenance, supervising material handling, and ensuring PTW compliance for safe, compliant operations.

You will participate in toolbox talks, support shift safety briefings, and act as a first responder during emergencies, ensuring in-process checks and QC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or BE Chemical with related experience.
• 4–8 years of experience in chemical industry, preferably in production or manufacturing.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities; knowledge of MS Office; SAP skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute production as per production plan and monitor process parameters for unit operation and processes.
• Maintain batch records and logbooks.
• Coordinate with maintenance for breakdown handling.
• Supervise unloading of raw materials, control intermediate and finished product transfers.
• Adhere to Permit-to-Work (PTW) system.
• Conduct toolbox talks and shift safety briefings.
• Act as first responder during emergencies.
• Ensure in-process checks and sample dispatch to QC.
• Take corrective actions for off-spec results as per instructions from QC.
• Prevent deviations and ensure batch traceability.
