Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. invites applications for a detail-oriented Procurement/Supply Chain Engineer in Mumbai to manage purchase order processing, maintain records, and support day-to-day coordination with warehousing.

The role requires familiarity with ERP systems like AX or SAP, advanced Excel, and Power BI. MBA in SCM preferred, engineering graduates also considered, with 1-2 years of experience.

Qualifications

• MBA in SCM preferred; Engineering graduates or any graduate also considered.
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in Purchase or Supply Chain functions

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end purchase order processing, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely execution
• Update internal databases on a weekly basis with order details such as dates, vendors, and quantities
• Prepare monthly and weekly reports covering purchase orders, inward shipments, and delivery delays
• Support the Supply Chain Manager with coordination and other procurement-related activities
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchases, pricing, and related procurement data
• Update and maintain data in AX, including factory prices, MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity), and lead times
• Working knowledge of Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Procurement processes
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Familiarity with AX/SAP or any other ERP system
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite - Advanced Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power BI knowledge would be ideal

Position Summary
