Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy seeks a technical procurement engineer to study customer enquiries, analyse process needs and feasibility against our skid range. The role involves scheduling interactions with customers, coordinating with suppliers, and preparing cost estimates and technical quotations.

Responsibilities include standardizing skid ranges, finalizing technical specs, and aiding project scheduling for client submissions. Collaboration across locations is expected.

• To study and understand all technical aspects of the enquiry (process, parameters, automation logic, feasibility vs skid range).
• To schedule interaction with the customer for understanding enquiry details and to seek more details; visit customer if required.
• To communicate technical requirements of an enquiry to suppliers and select equipment, instruments & components for offer submission.
• To work on selection of components and calculate enquiry requirements based on process requirements; interact with suppliers for optimization of equipment.
• To work on costing and technical quotations of the enquiry and submit engineering transfer price to Manager Engineering & DGM Sales & Marketing.
• To interact with concerned persons at different Solutions locations or HQ as required to understand the technical aspects of skid ranges for offer submission.
• To work on standardization of skid ranges and release transfer price to Manager Engineering & DGM Sales & Marketing for release of List Price to Sales.
• To understand and work on final technical specifications of an order.
• To communicate final technical specifications to suppliers for order processing and final selection of equipment & components.
• To work on the selection & calculations of components and equipment to seek final offers from suppliers after discussing final technical requirements.
• To support Manager-Project & Engineering for selection of techno-commercially competent suppliers.
• To support Manager-Project & Engineering for preparation of Project Schedule for submission to customer.

Job description

To study & understand all technical aspects (process, parameters provided by customer, logic of the automation, feasibility of the enquiry against available range of skid available with us) of the enquiry from customer.

To schedule an interaction with customer for further understanding of the enquiry details provided by customer & also to seek more details to know all required enquiry details. If required visit customer towards understanding of the enquiry

To communicate technical requirements of an enquiry to suppliers & selection of different equipments, instruments & components towards offer submission to customer.

To work on the selection of the different components, calculation of the enquiry requirements based on the process requirements. To interact with suppliers for optimization of different equipment.

To work on the costing & technical quotations of the enquiry & submit Engineering transfer price to Manager Engineering & DGM Sales & Marketing

To interact with concern persons (at different Solutions locations or Head Quarters as & when required) to understand the technical aspects of range of skids towards offer submission to customer

To work on the standardization of the different range of skids available with us & release the transfer price to Manager Engineering & DGM Sales & Marketing for release of List Price to Sales

To understand & work on the final technical specifications of an order

To communicate final technical specifications to suppliers for further order processing. based on which work on the final selection of the equipments & different components.

To work on the selection & calculations of the different components, equipment’s, to seek final offers from suppliers after discussing the final technical requirements with suppliers

To support Manager-Project & Engineering for selection of the techno-commercially competent suppliers

To support Manager-Project & Engineering for preparation of Project Schedule for submission to customer
