Job summary

Linde Engineering seeks an experienced skid execution leader responsible for end-to-end engineering, vendor coordination, and successful skid package delivery.

You will coordinate with internal disciplines, ensure compliance with quality, safety, and schedule requirements, and drive continuous improvement in skid concepts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in skid/package engineering, product execution, manufacturing, or project execution.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• NDT qualification or relevant inspection knowledge is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical specifications and purchase requisitions aligned with client requirements.
• Coordinate with internal disciplines for inputs and stakeholder alignment.
• Evaluate vendor offers and drive technical close-out with vendors.
• Ensure skid packages meet quality, cost, and schedule targets.
• Own skid execution and coordinate with vendors, sub-vendors, and clients.
• Develop new checklists and execution procedures for value engineering.
• Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and process requirements.

Job description

This role is responsible for end-to-end skid execution, including Engineering activities, preparation of technical inquiries, evaluation of vendor offers, coordination with internal disciplines, and successful execution of skid packages. The role ensures that skid packages are executed in line with project quality, cost, and schedule requirements by coordinating with technical teams, project management, quality, procurement, vendors, sub-vendors, and other key stakeholders.

Key Responsibility:

Functional Competency:

• Prepare technical specifications and purchase requisitions in line with client requirements and project specifications
• .Coordinate with internal disciplines for purchase requisition inputs, scope clarification, and alignment among stakeholders
• .Review and challenge proposed technical solutions to optimise cost, schedule, quality, and overall execution efficiency
• .Demonstrate sound knowledge of applicable design codes, statutory regulations, and project-specific requirements
• .Evaluate vendor offers, clarify scope, resolve technical deviations, and drive technical close-out with vendors
• .Apply knowledge of execution sequence, inspection requirements, fabrication practices, and mechanical commissioning activities
• .Take overall ownership of skid execution and work closely with other departments, vendors, sub-vendors, and clients
• .Coordinate effectively with all stakeholders during skid fabrication to resolve concerns and ensure smooth manufacturing at the vendor’s shop
• .Develop new ideas, checklists, and execution procedures for skid execution while promoting value-engineered solutions
• .Possess NDT qualification or relevant inspection knowledge; this will be considered an added advantage
• .Ensure delivery of skid packages within agreed time, budget, quality, and client requirements
• .Contribute to product standardisation and continuous improvement in skid concept development and execution practices

Ensure compliance with organisational, statutory, safety, quality, and process requirements throughout the complete execution cycle.

Technical Knowledge:

Possess technical know-how of modularisation, skid / package engineering, manufacturing processes, inspection requirements, and NDT practices.

Preferred Skill set:

Mechanical design knowledge, skid / package engineering experience, manufacturing understanding, basic cost awareness, and pricing knowledge.

Education & Experience:

Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in skid/package engineering, product execution, manufacturing, or project execution.
