Job summary

Qualifications

• BE/ Diploma/ B.Tech or related field required.
• 2–4 years of manufacturing/process development experience.
• Hands-on with VMC/CNC, GD&T and PFMEA knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and implement manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
• Conduct detailed process analysis to identify improvements for raw materials, components, machining, and fixture design.
• Analyze drawings and define optimal process flow for machining, bench work, and assembly.
• Design, evaluate, and implement new manufacturing processes or technologies.
• Prepare and maintain process documentation including SOPs, control plans, PFMEA, stage drawings, and reports.
• Collaborate with production, quality, supply chain, and cross-functional teams to ensure robust implementation.
• Support fixture design, inspection methodologies, and assembly techniques.

PRIME FUNCTION

To develop, optimize, and implement efficient manufacturing processes that enhance productivity, ensure quality compliance, reduce costs, and support continuous improvement initiatives in machining and assembly operations.

Job Description / Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and implement manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
• Conduct detailed process analysis to identify improvement opportunities related to raw materials, bought-out components, machining processes, and fixture design.
• Analyze engineering drawings and define optimal process flow for machining, bench work, and assembly operations.
• Design, evaluate, and implement new manufacturing processes or technologies to support innovation.
• Prepare and maintain process documentation including SOPs, work instructions, process flow diagrams, control plans, PFMEA, stage drawings, and technical reports.
• Collaborate with production, quality, supply chain, and cross-functional teams to ensure robust process implementation.
• Support fixture design, inspection methodologies, and assembly techniques.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards and statutory requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and share best practices across departments

AUTHORITY

• Recommend and implement process improvements and optimization initiatives.
• Coordinate with internal departments for process-related changes and enhancements.
• Propose tooling, fixture, and process modifications to improve efficiency and quality.
• Escalate process deviations, risks, or non-compliances to appropriate stakeholders.
