Job summary

Sansera Engineering Limited seeks a diligent Production Planner to support daily planning and execution of manufacturing activities at Bengaluru site. The role focuses on scheduling, coordinating with maintenance, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

You will work with quality, maintenance and supply chain teams, maintaining records and contributing to continuous improvement. Diploma or Bachelor's in mechanical/industrial engineering with 0-2 years of experience preferred;

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering.
• 0–2 years of production planning experience preferred.
• Willingness to work in shifts and in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing daily production activities as per schedules.
• Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to resolve machine breakdowns and reduce downtime.
• Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.
• Maintain production records, reports, and documentation.
• Support implementation of process improvements and cost reduction initiatives.
• Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and suggest corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety norms, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in audits and support corrective/preventive actions.
• Work closely with quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams.

PRIME FUNCTION

To support production operations by ensuring efficient manufacturing processes, maintaining quality standards, minimizing downtime, and assisting in continuous improvement initiatives.

Educational Qualification

• Diploma / Bachelor's degree in mechanical / industrial engineering or related field.

Experience

• 0-2 years of experience in production planning and control in a manufacturing environment.
