Job summary

AWL Agri Business Ltd in Maharashtra is seeking a Production/Process Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations at the assigned processing unit.

Candidates should have BE/BTech in relevant Eng and 35 years of experience; exposure to Food Processing, FMCG, Edible Oil are preferred; strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, food safety and operational safety is essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize day-to-day operations of the assigned processing unit.
• Monitor critical process parameters to ensure quality, yield, efficiency and safety.
• Achieve production targets while minimizing losses, downtime and wastage.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Safety and other teams to ensure smooth plant ops.
• Ensure adherence to FSSAI guidelines, SOPs, quality standards and safety procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement for productivity, quality, yield and cost optimization.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure effective utilization of manpower, machinery and other resources.
• Maintain production and process documentation per SOPs.

Role & Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize the day-to-day operations of the assigned processing unit.
• Monitor critical process parameters to ensure product quality, yield, operational efficiency, and safety.
• Ensure achievement of production targets while minimizing process losses, downtime, and wastage.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Safety, and other cross-functional teams to troubleshoot operational issues and ensure smooth plant operations.
• Ensure adherence to FSSAI guidelines, food safety requirements, SOPs, quality standards, and safety procedures.
• Monitor equipment and process performance and initiate timely corrective actions in case of deviations.
• Support and drive continuous improvement initiatives for productivity, quality, yield, cost optimization, and operational excellence.
• Carry out root-cause analysis of process issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure effective utilization of manpower, machinery, and other operational resources.
• Maintain required production and process documentation and ensure compliance with established operating procedures.

Preferred candidate profile

• Qualification: B.E. / B. Tech in Food Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.
• Experience:35 years of relevant experience in Production / Process Operations.
• Candidates having experience in Food Processing, FMCG, Edible Oil, Agri-processing, or similar manufacturing industries will be preferred.
• Good understanding of production processes, process parameters, quality control, food safety, and operational safety.
• Knowledge of FSSAI requirements, SOP compliance, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
• Should possess good problem-solving, coordination, communication, and team-handling skills.
• Exposure to continuous improvement, productivity enhancement, yield improvement, and process optimization will be an added advantage.
