Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Execute shift production as per the production plan and ensure achievement of production targets.
• Monitor plant operations, process parameters, quality, yield, and productivity.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Utility, and Stores departments for smooth plant operations.
• Ensure availability of raw materials, packing materials, chemicals, and other consumables.
• Monitor preventive maintenance activities and participate in breakdown analysis (RCA).
• Maintain production, consumption, yield, and shift reports accurately.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, food safety, hygiene, and safety standards.
• Lead and supervise operators, housekeeping staff, and contract manpower during shifts.
• Train operators on process operations, hygiene, safety, and discipline.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce losses, rework, and downtime.

Qualification & Experience

• B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering / Food Technology / Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 58 years of experience in Food Processing, Coffee, Beverage, FMCG, or Process Industries.
• Strong knowledge of plant operations, production planning, and team management.

Key Experience Areas
