Job summary

CIEL HR in Chennai invites applications from Diploma holders in Electrical and Electronics Engineering to join their maintenance team. The role involves attending breakdowns and preventive maintenance of substation accessories, DG sets, air compressors, UPS units, and MV/LV electrical panels.

The candidate should be able to read electrical drawings, troubleshoot equipment, and have knowledge of water treatment plants such as ETP, STP, DRO & DM.

Qualifications

• Diploma holder in Electrical and Electronics Engineering is required.
• Ability to attend Breakdowns and Preventive Maintenance of Substation accessories, DG Sets, Air Compressor, UPS units, MV/LV Electrical Panels etc.
• Reading and understanding Electrical drawings and troubleshooting the equipment.
• Knowledge in Water Treatment Plant (ETP, STP, DRO & DM Plant) will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in English (verbal and written) is a must.

Responsibilities

• Attend breakdowns and preventive maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and troubleshoot equipment.
• Participate in maintenance of substation accessories, DG sets, air compressors, UPS, MV/LV panels.
• Possess basic knowledge of water treatment plants (ETP, STP, DRO & DM).
• Communicate effectively in English; additional languages are an asset.
