Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited in India is seeking a skilled engineer to operate chassis dyno tests and support EV/ICE powertrain evaluation. You will set up vehicles, run tests, and help ensure data accuracy and compliance with safety standards.

The role requires 2–3 years of hands-on experience in automotive testing, strong diagnostic skills, and knowledge of data acquisition systems such as INCA, IPETRONIX, and AVL EDACS. Driving license is a plus and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in engineering is required.
• Strong diagnostic skills and ability to learn new concepts.
• Knowledge of measurement instruments and vehicle instrumentation.
• Understanding engine validation at vehicle level and peripheral systems.
• Experience with vehicle data acquisition & control systems (INCA, IPETronic, AVL EDACS).
• Four-wheeler driving license is an advantage.
• Knowledge of EV chassis dyno testing is required.
• Strong attention to detail and safety compliance.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform chassis dyno emission tests.
• Prepare, install and setup test vehicle, analyzers, dyno data acquisition.
• Conduct tests and record results, communicate to engineer or supervisor.
• Complete test documentation paperwork.
• Propose process and equipment improvement.

Job description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• 1.Perform chassis dyno emission tests
• 2.Prepares, installs and sets up test vehicle, analyzers, dyno data acquisition and other equipment
• 3.Perform test and record results, communicates results to an Engineer, or to a Supervisor / Manager, as required
• 4.Complete test documentation paperwork
• 5. Proposes improvements to processes and equipment upgrades

• 1. Knowledge / Hands on Experience of Automotive technology, ICE/electric Powertrain systems, Vehicle Interface systems
• 2.Strong diagnostic skills - ability to learn and understand new concepts and applications

• 4. Knowledge of engine validation @ vehicle level & peripheral systems affecting vehicle performance.
