Job summary

Flex is hiring an Engineer – NPI in Sriperumbudur to support new product introductions and drive on-time launches. You will manage NPI projects, coordinate with customers, and develop build plans for production according to process instructions.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 4+ years in NPI or product/project management and knowledge of ECO/ECN/ECR procedures. We offer medical insurance, PTO, and PV14.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects for new product introductions (NPI).
• Serve as on-site single-point-of-contact with customers during audits.
• Design the project plan and share it with the customer for better visibility of product launch.
• Schedule the Kick-off meeting to ensure on-time product launch.
• Oversee new product implementation on the production line.
• Develop product build plans and perform production according to manufacturing process instructions.
• Coordinate with program teams to develop the new product schedule & quote.
• Create and maintain build processes, coordinate product builds for release into production, prioritize failures and work with design to resolve issues.

Typical day looks like:

• Project management of new product introductions (NPI).
• Experience Single point of contact with the customers & handling the customers on-site for audit.
• Design the project plan and share it with the customer for better visibility of product launch with challenges.
• Schedule the Kick-off meeting for on-time Product launch.
• Responsible for the new product implementation in production line.
• Develop product build plans and perform production according to manufacturing process instructions.
• Coordinate with program teams to develop the new product schedule & quote.
• Creates/maintains build processes, coordinates product builds for release into production, prioritizes failures and works with design to resolve issues.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training.
• Typically requires 4+years of experience.
• Strong Experience in New product Introduction.
• Experience in Product and Project management skills.
• Knowledge in ECO/ECN/ECR procedure.
