Job summary

International Game Technology (IGT) is seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement and support our global data communications systems. You will plan and deploy LAN/WAN solutions, coordinate with vendors, and assist in project planning and cost analysis.

The role requires 5-8 years in network design and 5+ years in security operations, with strong knowledge of Cisco IOS, Fortinet, Palo Alto and VPNs. Hybrid work arrangements are available and IGT offers a diverse, inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT or similar discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience in a related field required.
• CCNP or other certifications preferred.
• 5-8 years’ experience designing, supporting, and delivering systems and network data architecture in a diverse multi‑platform relational database environment.
• 5+ years’ experience operating in a security operations capacity.
• Ability to work on complex problems where situation analysis requires in-depth evaluations of various factors.
• Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Demonstrated expert knowledge of LAN/WAN systems, WiFi networks, networks, applications, firewalls, IDS/IPS, Routing protocols (OSPF/BGP), Cisco IOS, Nexus 9k and IPsec VPNs.
• Demonstrated advanced engineering practices on documentation and procedures.
• Advanced experience with Fortinet IOS, Fortinet products (FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager, FortiNAC); Palo Alto products (NGFW, Panorama, Prisma Access), F5 load balancers.
• Demonstrated in-depth understanding of operational dependencies between applications, networks, systems, security, and policies.
• Demonstrated advanced proficiency with network troubleshooting tools and the ability to diagnose and analyze network traffic.
