Job summary

IGT is seeking an experienced Backend Node.js Developer to join our team in a hybrid setup in India. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable server-side applications with a focus on performance and security.

The ideal candidate has 6–8 years of backend experience, strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, and hands-on knowledge of Node.js frameworks. You will collaborate with frontend teams and work with relational and NoSQL databases in a globally distributed environment.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in backend development using Node.js.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) /TypeScript and asynchronous programming.
• Experience with Express.js, Nest.js, Moleculer.js or other Node.js frameworks.
• Proficiency in working with RESTful APIs and JSON.
• Knowledge of database management systems (MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
