Job summary

Ayr Energy, Inc. is seeking a Drafting Engineer – Mechanical in Hyderabad. You will perform basic 2D/3D drafting and modeling of mechanical parts and assemblies with proper tolerancing and manufacturability considerations.

Responsibilities include defining parts and clearances for manufacturing, adapting GD&T per process, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support product and tests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of design experience in 2D/3D modeling of parts and assemblies.
• Proficiency in CREO, SOLIDWORKS, CATIA, and GD&T.
• Knowledge of ISO GPS standards.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams for clarifications.

Job description

Responsibilities

As a Drafting Engineer – Mechanical, you shall:

• The basic Mechanical component and assembly design in any 2D or 3D CAD tool with proper tolerancing, dimensioning and manufacturability.
• Define the parts and its clearances for manufacturing
• Able to derive 2D to 3D and 3D to 2D models based on the manufacturing requirements.
• Ability to define and adapt GD&T as per the process and tool.
• Perform drafting and design of components and assemblies of circuit breaker.
• Understand and define the manufacturing tolerances and clearances of HVCB parts
• Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• 3-5 Years of experience in design involving 2D and 3D modelling of parts and assemblies.
• Proficiency in drafting tools such as CREO, SOLIDWORKS, CATIA etc.,
• Good knowledge on GD&T, ISO GPS.
• Ability to work closely with cross-functional team to guide and support them on basic clarifications regarding product and tests.
