Job summary

Qualcomm WIN Customer Engineering Team seeks an Engineer III with deep WLAN driver expertise to implement customer-specific software and drive end-to-end debugging and integration on WiFi6/WiFi7 platforms.

You will work closely with customers, internal software teams and system test to analyze issues, validate fixes, and support deliverables, including OpenWrt build/DT and kernel integration.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of hands-on WLAN/Linux driver development experience.
• Hands-on debugging of WLAN stack issues and driver/firmware interaction.
• Experience with software customizations, configuration management and integration.

Responsibilities

• Implement and validate customer-specific software customizations across WLAN platforms.
• End-to-end debugging and log analysis for functional, performance, and stability issues.
• Support AP bring-up, management path and data path workflows.
• Customize and tune advanced WLAN features based on customer requirements.
• Debug issues related to networking stacks, offload protocols and driver/firmware interaction.

Job Overview

As a member of theQualcomm WIN Customer Engineering Team, the Engineer III

will be responsible forcustomerspecific software customizations and issue

resolutionforWiFi6 / WiFi7 Access Point and WLAN chipsets.

This role involveshandson development, debugging and integration of

customerdriven software changes, including configuration updates, feature

adaptations, performance tuning and stability fixes across WLAN SoCs. The

engineer will work closely withcustomers, internal software development teams

and system test teamsto analyze issues, implement targeted solutions, validate

fixes and support customer deliverables.

Skills / Experience:

• 812 years of handson experience inWLAN / Linux driver development.
• StrongC / C++ programming and debuggingskills
• Experience withARMbased Linux system software
• Familiarity withsoftware customization, configuration management and integration
• Experience withversion control systems(Git, Perforce)
• Good understanding ofWLAN driver
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Handson knowledge of OpenWrt (build system, package management, DTS, kernel integration) is an added advantage
• Prior experience with Qualcomm WiFi chipsets and QSDKbased platforms is highly preferred

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Computer Science or related field with4+ yearsrelevant experience
• ORMaster’s degree with3+ yearsrelevant experience
• ORPhD with2+ yearsrelevant experience
• 5+ years of experience inC/C++/Pythonor similar programming languages
• 4+ years of handson debugging experience withWLAN driver development.
