Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. in Chennai, India, is seeking a Verification Engineer to join the block-level verification team. You will develop verification test plans from design specs and build test environments using SystemVerilog and UVM.

You will integrate with RTL, create multiple test cases, drive coverage analysis, and collaborate with design teams to resolve issues with a proactive, self-motivated approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Domain Expertise: AHB, AXI, USB2, USB3 & PCIe Protocols.
• Languages: Verilog, SystemVerilog.
• Methodologies: UVM.
• Good knowledge in AI concepts.
• EDA Tools: Questasim, VCS, NCSim, NCVerilog.
• Experience in developing Test Bench components at both block and SOC levels.
• Experience in creating test plans and writing test sequences.
• Knowledge of Coverage, Assertions (OVA, SVA, PSL) is desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Requirements/Qualifications
