Job summary

Schneider Electric in Bengaluru is seeking a Hardware Engineer to contribute to the Continuous Engineering process for 3 phase UPS. You will design solutions for field issues, qualify alternate parts, and work on adaptation and QVE projects, leveraging your expertise in power electronics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical/Power Electronics Engineering or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in power electronics
• Knowledge of PPEs, Safety, ESD hazards is mandatory
• Experienced with power supply, UPS product design or relevant field and system/control engineering
• Good knowledge in lab equipment/instruments like oscilloscopes, function generators, LCR meters, thermal power analysers, multimeters
• Basic knowledge in UPS designs topologies, charger circuits, battery configurations, high DC voltage systems
• Basic knowledge in safety standards, electrical codes, symbols
• Good root cause analysis using Fishbone 8D
• Good collaboration with cross-cultural and cross-functional teams
