Job description

Brief Job Description: The Service Engineer will be responsible for visiting customer sites to perform installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and breakdown maintenance of Precision Air Conditioners (PACs). The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in HVAC systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with customers to resolve issues. The Service Engineer will also be responsible for attending breakdown calls, troubleshooting problems, and ensuring customer satisfaction, with a track record of receiving appreciation mail from customers.

Responsibilities

• Visit customer sites to install, commission, and maintain Precision Air Conditioners (PACs)
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks according to scheduled maintenance plans to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems
• Respond promptly to breakdown calls and efficiently troubleshoot technical issues to minimize downtime for customers
• Work closely with customers to understand their requirements and provide effective solutions to meet their HVAC needs
• Diagnose and resolve problems encountered by customers during PAC and Chiller operation, ensuring smooth functionality
• Maintain accurate records of service activities, including installation, maintenance, and repairs, using appropriate documentation systems
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers on HVAC system operation, maintenance procedures, and best practices
• Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and engineering, to address customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in service delivery and recommend solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Demonstrate professionalism and commitment to delivering high-quality service in all interactions with customers and colleagues
• Uphold safety standards and protocols while performing onsite activities to ensure a safe working environment for all parties involved
• Willingness to travel to customer sites, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members, good technical knowledge of HVAC systems, including components, controls, and troubleshooting techniques

Qualifications - Bachelors of Diploma or BTech in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field.
