Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking an Engineer – Finishing – Site to supervise finishing works at the site, including plastering, painting, tiling, flooring, ceilings and cladding. You will ensure work is on schedule, meets quality standards, and aligns with architectural drawings and specifications.

You will support project delivery through planning, coordination with contractors, and monitoring progress of finishing-related works, ensuring materials and resources are available.

Qualifications

• Execute and supervise daily finishing work such as tiling, plastering, painting, false ceiling, flooring, and façades.
• Review architectural and finishing drawings; ensure execution matches specs and design intent.
• Monitor contractor activities and track progress to meet finishing milestones per schedule.
• Conduct site inspections to verify quality and compliance with approved standards and mock-ups.
• Coordinate with procurement and stores to ensure materials, tools, and resources are available.

Job Description

The Engineer – Finishing – Site is responsible for the supervision, execution, and quality assurance of all finishing works at the site including interior and exterior finishes such as plastering, painting, tiling, flooring, ceiling, and cladding. The role ensures that finishing activities are completed on time, within quality standards, and in accordance with approved architectural drawings and specifications. The incumbent supports project delivery through detailed planning, contractor coordination, and monitoring site progress for all finishing-related works.

• Execute and supervise day-to-day finishing work including tiling, plastering, painting, false ceiling, flooring, joinery, and façade finishes.
• Review and interpret architectural and finishing drawings; ensure execution aligns with specifications and design intent.
• Monitor contractor activities, track work progress, and ensure timely completion of finishing milestones as per project schedule.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality of work and compliance with approved standards and mock-ups.
• Ensure availability of materials, tools, and resources at the site by coordinating with the procurement and stores teams.
