Job summary

AP Management Consultants in Tamil Nadu seeks an experienced electrical maintenance technician to handle maintenance of production machines, panels, motors, and control systems. You will troubleshoot breakdowns, perform preventive maintenance, monitor electrical parameters, and ensure safe operation on the shop floor.

Additionally you will support installation and commissioning of electrical equipment, maintain records, coordinate with the production team and external vendors, and uphold

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical maintenance of production machines, panels and control systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Familiarity with preventive and routine maintenance of electrical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Handle electrical maintenance of production machines, panels, motors, and control systems.
• Attend and troubleshoot electrical breakdowns to minimize machine downtime.
• Perform preventive and routine maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot motors, starters, contactors, relays, sensors, VFDs, and control panels.
• Monitor electrical parameters and ensure safe operation of machines.
• Support installation, commissioning, and modification of electrical equipment.
• Maintain maintenance records, checklists, and breakdown reports.
• Coordinate with the production team for maintenance activities and machine availability.
• Follow electrical safety, 5S, and plant safety procedures.
• Assist in identifying recurring issues and implementing corrective actions.
• Coordinate with external vendors/service engineers when required.
