Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics or Automation Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of hands-on automation experience in industrial settings.
• Experience with Ethernet/IP, Modbus and Profibus protocols.
• Knowledge of PLC hardware configurations and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement PLC control logic and configure HMI/SCADA for operator control and monitoring.
• Design and optimization of electrical & electronic components for filtration products.
• Troubleshoot PLC hardware/software and ensure system performance.
• Read schematics, blueprints, and reports to support design work.

Job description

Purpose

Designs components or a system of components to develop or improve existing products while reducing cost, enhancing performance, or facilitating manufacturing operations. Designs products or systems of diverse/difficult scope and complexity for assigned projects

Role & responsibilities

• Design, Develop and implement control login in PLCs and configuration of HMI/SCADA systems for operator control and monitoring
• Design and optimization of electrical & electronic components for filtration products
• Troubleshooting Diagnose and resolve issues with PLC hardware, software and overall system functionality Also ensuring they operate as designed.
• Analysis and specification of products/systems
• Perform EMI / EMC testing and functional testing at hardware and electromechanical product levels
• Develops to support electrical part drawings in accordance with applicable standards
• Interfaces with outside vendors for component selection, manufacturing, and assembly
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports
• Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications
• Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.
• Communicate Quality rating score to suppliers in an effective way and initiate actions to improve the performance

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical & Electronics or Automation Engineering or a related technical field
• 4+ years of experience
• Knowledge of communication protocols like Ethernet/IP, Modbus and Profibus
• Familiarity with major PLC hardware configurations and industrial control systems
