Job summary

Brillio seeks an Engineer, Cloud Engineering to manage Azure infrastructure in production and non-production environments. You will provide L1 support and incident response, focusing on reliability and speed.

The role requires 1–3 years of IT infra experience with hands-on Azure, RBAC, monitoring, and patching. You will collaborate with global teams and follow SOPs, runbooks, and ServiceNow processes.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years IT infrastructure experience with hands-on Azure ops and L1 production support.
• Experience managing Azure VM, storage, networking, identity, and backup.
• Familiar with RBAC in Azure Active Directory.
• Proficient in monitoring using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
• Experience with ServiceNow ticketing and SLA adherence.
• Knowledge of patch management using Azure Update Manager.
• Proficient in basic PowerShell scripting or Azure CLI.
• Understanding of Azure network security groups and VNets.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1 support for Azure infrastructure and platform services in prod and non-prod environments.
• Monitor Azure services, alerts, dashboards, backup status, and patch compliance.
• Perform initial triage and first-level troubleshooting for Azure outages.
• Maintain ServiceNow ticket hygiene in line with SLAs.
• Execute SOPs and runbooks for routine checks, backups, and patch readiness.
• Assist with patching activities using Azure Update Manager and post-patching checks.
• Support vulnerability remediation by validating assets and escalating blockers.
• Escalate incidents to L2/L3 with clear troubleshooting steps and evidence.

Job requirements

Experience Range: with at least 1 to 3 years of IT infrastructure experience, including hands-on exposure to Azure cloud operations and L1 production support

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver L1 support for Azure infrastructure and platform services in production and non-production environments, ensuring timely incident response and operational continuity
• Monitor Azure services, alerts, dashboards, backup status, and patch compliance using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and ServiceNow
• Perform initial triage and first-level troubleshooting for incidents involving Azure virtual machines, storage, networking, identity, and backup failures
• Maintain ServiceNow ticket hygiene by accurately categorizing, prioritizing, updating, and documenting tickets in line with SLAs
• Execute approved SOPs and runbooks for routine operational tasks such as service checks, backup verification, log collection, and patch readiness checks
• Assist with patching activities using Azure Update Manager, including compliance review, schedule tracking, and post-patching health checks under guidance
• Support vulnerability remediation by validating assets, updating status, and escalating blockers to senior teams
• Escalate incidents to L2/L3 teams with clear documentation of troubleshooting steps, impact, and evidence
