Job summary

Arm is leading the vision to unlock a broad ecosystem of silicon for AI, data centers, mobile, compute and IoT. As a member of Solution engineering, you will deliver optimized design flow, methodology, and full CAD solution for compute subsystems and SoCs, focusing on automation to boost power, performance, and area optimizations.

You will collaborate with foundry, EDA and ecosystem partners on 3nm/2nm tech nodes and multi-die, designing, deploying, testing, and maintaining scalable software

Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in Python, TCL, C/C++.
• Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and OOP.
• Experience with Linux/Unix, Git, debugging, scripting, and automation.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, distributed systems, CI/CD, containers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and tools.
• Write clean, maintainable, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Develop automation to improve engineering productivity and reduce manual processes.
• Debug complex software, system, and performance issues.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to coding standards and best practices.
• Design and maintain APIs, databases, command-line tools, and supporting infrastructure as required.

• Monitor software reliability and improve performance, scalability, and robustness.

Required Skills and Experience :

• Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and software design principles.
• Experience with Linux/Unix, Git, debugging, scripting, and automation.
• Understanding of databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQLite.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, distributed systems, CI/CD, containers.
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies and development lifecycle practices.

“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :

Working knowledge of agentic workflow models from OpenAI and Claude. Experience with RTL synthesis tools, process technology design rules, STA, and power estimation and analysis methodologies. Prior experience in SoC design, CAD engineering, or related areas, with a focus on physical design and signoff, is highly desirable.
