Arm is looking for a seasoned Solution Engineering professional in Bengaluru to enable EDA flows for the latest CPU designs. You will shape design methodologies, automation, and tool integration across advanced node processes.

The role requires collaborating with EDA vendors, internal design teams, and foundries to deliver robust CAD solutions and improve PPA performance while managing power and area constraints.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Floorplan, PDN, Timing, Power and Physical design.
• Expertise in EDA tool-flows, PPA analysis and CAD automation.
• Proficient in Python, C, Tcl with version control and distributed processing.

Responsibilities

• Drive EDA technology enablement from early technology development through production readiness.
• Develop, and desply design methodologies, flows, scripts, and automation supporting advanced node processes.
• Develop strategy and roll-out for EDA tools roadmap and features.
• Analyze requirements and develop CAD solutions including external EDA tools integration.
• Collaborate with EDA vendors to debug tool issues and influence improvements.
• Lead a product implementation with internal design teams, foundry and partners.

As a member of Solution engineering, you will be joining a team enabling the latest semiconductor process nodes. This role requires study of advanced node processes, to enable teams to deliver a flow that achieves the best performance at the lowest power and area cost on advanced CPU designs.

Required Skills and Experience :

• Strong experience and deep understanding of Floorplan, PDN, Timing, Power, and Physical design.
• Outstanding expertise in EDA tool-flows, PPA analysis and designing solutions
• Experience with architecting and developing VLSI CAD Software and automation.
• Strong coding proficiency in languages Python, C, Tcl. Proficiency with version control systems like git, distributed processing, and disk management.
• Ability to work with evolving problem statements and solutions. Excellent interpersonal skills, communication, team spirit and effective collaboration with multi-functional teams.

"Nice To Have" Skills and Experience :

Experience with multi-die SoC design flows. Experience with Data analytics, dashboards and metrics desired.
