Arm in Bengaluru is seeking a senior design engineer with deep expertise in subsystems and SoC architectures to develop advanced Subsystems and SoCs. You will partner with the Architecture team to craft micro-architecture specifications for Clocking, Reset, Debug, Power, Interconnect, and Interrupts.

You will write micro-architecture specs, develop RTL, fix bugs, and run checks. You will work with verification and power teams to optimize PPA and help advance design methodologies across platforms.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS or ECE.
• 8+ years designing complex compute subsystems or SoCs.
• Experience writing micro-architecture and design specs for infrastructure areas.
• Strong digital hardware design knowledge and Verilog HDL.
• Experience leading RTL development and using lint/CDC/RDC flows.

• You will work the Architecture team to gather the requirements and develop Micro-architecture specifications for one or more SOC Infrastructure areas such as Clocking, Reset, Debug, Power management, Interconnect, Interrupts.
• Your key responsibilities will include writing micro-architecture specifications, developing the RTL, fixing bugsandrunning various design checks.
• You will work with the verification team to review test plans andhelp debug design issues.
• You will work with the Power and Performance analysis team to evaluateandimprove Subsystem/SOC PPA.
• You will also contribute to developingandenhancing the design methodologies used by the team.
• You will guideandsupport other members of the team as needed to enable the successful completion of project activities.

Required SkillsandExperience

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or electrical/computer engineering.
• 8+ years’ experience in design and developments of complex compute subsystems or SoCs, along with the following skills and expertise:
• Expertise in creating Micro-architecture and Design specifications for the SoC Infrastructure areas such as Clocking, Reset, Debug, Power management, Interconnect, Interrupts.
• Strong knowledge of digital hardware designandVerilog HDL.
• A thorough understandingandexperience of the current design techniques for complex SoC development.
• Experience leading and developing RTL for Subsystems or SoCs.
• Conversant with Lint, CDC, RDC, UPF/CLP flows.
• Good communication (written, verbal, presentations) skills.
• Experience with Perl, Python or other scripting language

Desired SkillsandExperience

• Experience with ARM-based designsand/or ARM System Architectures
• Experience developing subsystems for Interconnect, DDR/LPDDR, HBM, UCIe.
• Experience with System Verilogandverification methodologies – UVM/OVM
• Experience leading small teams or projects
• Experience or knowledge in the following areas
• Synthesisandtiming analysis
• Constraint development and hand-off to Implementation
• Power management and Power optimization methodologies
• DFTandphysical implementation
