Job summary

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Electronics & Communication (preferred).
• Experience in WLAN testing and networking product validation.
• Hands-on with traffic generators and protocol analyzers.
• Strong knowledge of Layer 1–Layer 7 networking.

We are hiring Engineer II – SW Test professionals for a leading product-based company.

Location: Chennai (Only Chennai & nearby candidates)
Experience: 2–4 Years

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in WLAN (IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax) Testing
• Manual testing of networking/Wi-Fi products
• Functional, Performance, IoT & Certification Testing
• Strong understanding of Layer 1–Layer 7 networking protocols
• Knowledge of WPA2/WPA3, MU-MIMO, OFDMA, Beamforming, Roaming
• Experience with Traffic Generators: Spirent, Ixia, Chariot, Veriwave
• Familiarity with RFC2544, RFC2889, RFC3918
• Hands-on with Wireshark, Ethereal, Omnipeek/Airopeek
• Good knowledge of Windows & Linux
• Automation scripting using Python / Perl / TCL (Mandatory)
• Strong debugging, test planning, and analytical skills
• Ethernet & Wired Networking knowledge is an added advantage

Qualification:

BE/B.Tech (Electronics & Communication preferred)
