Job summary

Duroflex Limited is seeking a Quality Executive for Textile and Upholstery quality inspection in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu. You will ensure product and material quality by identifying defects, conducting inspections, and implementing corrective actions.

The role requires 3-6 years of experience in textile and upholstery quality, with proficiency in QA tools, MIS reporting in MS Excel, and a collaborative approach with Production, Engineering, and Suppliers to eliminate defects and maintain

Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Textile, Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, Quality, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in textile, upholstery, furniture, mattress, or manufacturing quality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections of textiles, fabrics, upholstery materials, and finished products.
• Identify fabric and workmanship defects and deviations.
• Perform inspections per AQL standards and sampling procedures.
• Utilize quality tools such as 7 QC Tools, 5-Why, Fishbone, RCA, and CAPA for problem solving.
• Prepare and maintain quality inspection reports, checklists, and records.
• Support PFMEA, Control Plans, PFDs, SOPs, and inspection standards.
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Purchase, and Suppliers to resolve quality issues.
• Monitor quality performance and highlight deviations to relevant teams.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Quality Executive with strong experience in textile and upholstery quality inspection. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring product and material quality by identifying fabric and workmanship defects, conducting inspections as per quality standards, and implementing effective quality-control and corrective-action processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections of textiles, fabrics, upholstery materials, and finished products.
• Identify and evaluate fabric defects, workmanship defects, and quality deviations.
• Perform inspections as per AQL standards, sampling methods, inspection procedures, and defined quality standards.
• Use quality tools such as 7 QC Tools, 5-Why, Fishbone Analysis, RCA, and CAPA for problem-solving.
• Prepare and maintain quality inspection reports, checklists, records, and other quality documentation.
• Support the preparation and implementation of PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), SOPs, and inspection standards.
• Analyse recurring quality issues and identify the root cause to prevent recurrence.
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Purchase, and Suppliers to resolve quality-related issues.
• Conduct supplier/material inspections and follow up on corrective actions wherever required.
• Monitor quality performance and highlight deviations to the concerned teams.
• Ensure compliance with defined quality standards, processes, and specifications.
• Maintain accurate quality data and prepare MIS/reports using MS Excel.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve product quality.
• Good knowledge of textile and upholstery quality inspection.
• Strong understanding of fabric and workmanship defects.
• Knowledge of AQL, sampling techniques, and inspection procedures.
• Working knowledge of 7 QC Tools, 5-Why, Fishbone, RCA, and CAPA.
• Knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plan, PFD, SOP, and quality standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and quality documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality deviations.

Educational Qualification
