Job summary

Premier Mills (Premier Fine Linens) in Pollachi, Tamil Nadu, is seeking a QA Supervisor for the second shift to manage quality assurance in our bed linen plant.

You will inspect incoming fabrics, monitor in-process stitching lines, and ensure finished products meet export quality standards for international customers.

The ideal candidate has 3–7 years of QC/QA experience in home textiles, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to guide operators and halt lines when necessary.

Qualifications

• Experience with fabric defects, color fastness and stitching tolerances.
• Familiar with international quality standards such as AQL.

Responsibilities

• Lead second-shift quality control checks and compliance procedures.
• Audit in-process and finished bed linen items to detect defects early.
• Verify fabrics, trims, labels, elastics and zippers against specs.
• Identify deviations, halt lines if needed, and guide corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Sewing Supervisor to maintain high workmanship.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented QA Supervisor to manage quality assurance operations specifically for our second shift at our bed linen manufacturing plant in Pollachi. You will be responsible for inspecting incoming fabrics, monitoring in-process stitching lines, and ensuring finished home textile products meet rigorous export quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shift Quality Operations: Lead quality control checks and compliance procedures independently during the second shift.

• In-Process & Final Inspection: Conduct random and systematic audits of bed linen items (bedsheets, duvet covers, pillowcases) across stitching lines to catch defects early.

• Fabric & Trim Verification: Check raw materials, labels, elastics, and zippers against specifications before they enter production.

• Non-Conformance Management: Identify quality deviations, halt defective production lines when necessary, and guide operators on corrective actions.

• Team Guidance: Work closely with the Sewing Supervisor to uphold high workmanship standards among shift operators.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience: 3 to 7 years of quality control/assurance experience in the home textiles, bed linens, or apparel export industry.

• Shift Flexibility: Must be comfortable working in a second-shift schedule.

• Skills:

• Strong knowledge of fabric defects, dimensional stability, color fastness, and stitching tolerances.

• Familiarity with international quality standards (AQL standards).

• Strong analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.
