Job summary

G R Infraprojects Limited is seeking a design engineer to handle panels (Mechanical & Electrical) and ensure timely, quality design deliverables for assigned design activities. The role also involves obtaining approvals from the manager on design quality and keeping GRIL seniors updated with progress.

Documentation and secure reporting of all design information are essential. The candidate should have a Diploma or BE/B.Tech with relevant design experience, or an M.Tech with minimum one year in

• Diploma in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical with 2-3 years’ experience in design.
• BE/B.Tech with 1-2 years’ experience in design.
• M.Tech with min. 1 year’s experience in design.

Responsibilities

• Work as per the allotted design activity for panels (Mechanical & Electrical).
• Ensure design deliverables are on time and at the required level of quality compliance.
• Timely seek approval from the manager regarding the quality of design creation.
• Apprise the GRIL seniors of the design assignment progress and request for support/ necessary inputs to ensure smooth design delivery.
• Ensure that all design information is appropriately documented and secured through the relevant reporting mechanisms.

The incumbent of this role is accountable for the completion of the specific part of the design assignment. The purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth execution of the allotted aspect of the design assignment with best quality and with-in set timelines. The incumbent is also responsible for resolving operational issues to ensure minimal impact on the design delivery timelines.
