Job summary

Invesco is seeking an Application & Production Support role in Hyderabad to provide day-to-day support for business applications, investigations, and incident resolutions. The candidate will monitor system health, perform proactive checks, and collaborate with global teams to ensure reliable service delivery.

Ideal for those with SQL, Python, ETL/ELT knowledge, data warehousing, and experience with batch processing.

Qualifications

• Internship, academic project, or prior experience in data engineering, ETL development, application support, or software development is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing business requirements.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members, business partners, and support teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support for business applications and resolve client-reported issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Investigate, diagnose, and resolve application, data, and system-related incidents.
• Monitor application health, system performance, and batch processing activities to ensure service availability and reliability.
• Perform regular system checks and proactively identify potential issues before they impact users.
• Coordinate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to resolve complex production issues.
• Assist in data management, monitoring, and troubleshooting of data pipelines and batch scheduling.

concepts.Basic to intermediate programming or scripting knowledge (Python preferred).Basic understanding of ETL and ELT processes, job scheduling tools (e.g., AutoSys, UAC), and data pipeline operations, with the ability to support troubleshooting and issue resolution under the guidance of senior engineers.Ability to support routine production operations and assist in resolving data processing and batch scheduling issues.Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and batch processing is a plusExposure to cloud technologies such as Snowflake, AWS Services, or Informatica Cloud is
