About The Role
The BESS Consultant will deliver battery energy storage system (BESS) projects for DNV's clients, ensuring high quality and timely delivery of project deliverables. This role also involves business development, proposal writing, client relationship management, and market intelligence activities within a dynamic international BESS community.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver battery energy storage system (BESS) projects for DNV's clients.
- Provide technical expertise ensuring high quality and timely delivery of project deliverables.
- Involve in business development, proposal writing, client relationship management, and market intelligence activities.
- Work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, learning from and contributing to the global DNV BESS community.
- Manage client relationships, team, and process management.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Travel occasionally to support project delivery and business development activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's and/or Master's in a relevant engineering field.
- Fluent in English.
- Experience in the BESS industry is desirable, with a proven track record of delivering complex and challenging projects.
- Or at least 3–8 years of experience in the renewable or power grid systems industry, with a proven track record of delivering complex and challenging projects.
- Experience in client management, team management, and process management skills.
- Proficiency in relevant standards, codes and regulations for BESS system in India and internationally.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to support project delivery and business development activities.
