Job summary

Drlogy is seeking an Emergency Doctor to manage emergency medicine patients, providing OPD emergency care, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams across Mumbai and other locations. This position requires an MBBS degree, ideally with an MD/DNB in Emergency Medicine, along with 1 to 5 years of relevant experience.

The role includes assessing and triaging patients, initiating ACLS/BLS support, and ensuring compliance with emergency protocols for patient safety and care delivery.

Job description

The Emergency Doctor will manage emergency medicine patients, OPD emergency care, ACLS support, triage, stabilization, urgent investigations, and multidisciplinary coordination across Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi, or Hyderabad locations. This requires MBBS, preferably MD/DNB Emergency Medicine, with 1–5 years of experience.

• Assess and triage emergency patients immediately on arrival.
• Provide initial stabilization for trauma, cardiac, respiratory, neurological, and medical emergencies.
• Initiate ACLS/BLS support and emergency protocols when required.
• Monitor vitals, clinical condition, emergency investigations, and treatment response.
• Coordinate with ICU, OT, radiology, laboratory, consultants, and nursing teams.
• Maintain emergency records, consent forms, prescriptions, and handover documentation.
• Escalate critical cases to consultants and specialists promptly.
• Counsel attendants calmly during emergency situations as per hospital policy.
• Support admission, referral, transfer, and discharge decisions under guidance.
• Follow emergency medicine protocols, infection control, and patient safety practices.
• Respond to code blue, rapid response, and urgent medical alerts.
• Ensure fast, safe, and protocol-based emergency care delivery.
