Job summary

UST Global in Coimbatore is seeking an Embedded Test Engineer to contribute 5–10 years of hands-on experience in requirement analysis, test planning, execution and reviews. This role focuses on non-automotive domains with strong emphasis on embedded systems.

Candidate should be proficient in Embedded C, Python for data validation, and familiar with peripherals (Timer, PWM, DMA) and interfaces (SPI, I2C, USART, USB). Immediate to 15 days notice preferred.

Qualifications

• Familiar with peripherals like Timer, PWM, DMA, and external memory interfaces.
• Experience with SPI, I2C, USART and USB interfaces.
• Proficient in C and Embedded C programming.
• Experience in non- automotive domain preferred.
• Experience with Python for data visualization/validation.
• Knowledge of sensor systems (accelerometers, gyros) and basic signal processing.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and draft comprehensive test plans.
• Perform test execution and document results.
• Review test plans for quality and coverage.
• Troubleshoot issues with debugging tools and equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality.
• Maintain data visualization/validation scripts in Python.

Job Description:

• Must be familiarized in controller peripherals like Timer, PWM, DMA, External memory interface etc. Should have good understanding about communication interfaces like SPI, I2C, USART and USB.
• Good experience in C and Embedded C programming
• Experience in Non- Automotive Domain Preferred.
• Should have handled test equipment like multimeter, logic analyzer, debuggers etc.
• Good experience in Python (modules like numpy, pandas, etc.)programming for data visualization and validation
