Job summary

ApplyMint is seeking a hands-on embedded product tester for Smart metering and IoT devices. You will validate firmware, hardware interfaces, and communications across STM32/ESP32 platforms, performing OTA validation and field-oriented testing to ensure reliability.

Key tasks include preparing test cases, debugging logs/packets, and defect tracking, with collaboration across hardware, firmware, and validation teams to support production deployments and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Embedded C fundamentals and hands-on testing of embedded firmware and devices.
• Experience with STM32/ESP32 and serial interfaces (UART, SPI, I²C, RS485, Modbus RTU, LoRa/LoRaWAN).
• Firmware flashing, OTA validation, and log/packet analysis with defect tracking and root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute test cases for embedded firmware and devices.
• Perform functional, integration, and firmware validation testing.

• Firmware flashing, configuration, upgrades, and OTA validation.
• Debug and analyze device logs, packets, and communication issues.
• Test using Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, and Digital Multimeter.

• Track defects and perform root-cause analysis.
• Support production validation, pilot deployments, and field troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute test cases for embedded firmware and devices.

• Perform functional, integration, and firmware validation testing.

• Test and validate STM32 / ESP32 based products.

• Perform firmware flashing, configuration, upgrades, and OTA validation.

• Debug and analyze device logs, packets, and communication issues.

• Perform testing using Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, and Digital Multimeter.

• Work with UART, SPI, I²C, RS485, Modbus RTU, LoRa / LoRaWAN.
