Job summary

Pi Square Technologies is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer with hands-on expertise in NXP MCUs for automotive embedded software development. You will develop, integrate, debug, and test firmware for automotive MCU platforms.

The role requires strong Embedded C skills, MCU driver experience, CAN/LIN/SPI/I2C/UART, and collaboration with system, hardware, and validation teams to ensure robust, standards-compliant software.

Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience with Embedded C and automotive MCU development.
Experience with NXP MCUs and related peripherals.
Understanding of MCU architectures and peripherals, and driver development.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain embedded software for automotive MCU platforms.
Work on NXP Microcontrollers and related peripheral modules.
Develop software using Embedded C.
Configure, integrate, and debug MCU peripherals.
Work with AUTOSAR MCAL/BSW components, if applicable.
Analyze requirements and convert to designs.
Code, debug, and perform unit/integration testing.
Debug using tools like CANoe, Lauterbach, GDB.
Work with CAN/LIN/SPI/I2C/UART protocols.
Collaborate with system, hardware, and validation teams.
Analyze defects and implement corrective actions.
Follow automotive software processes and coding standards.

We are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer with strong hands‑on experience in NXP Microcontrollers (MCUs) for automotive embedded software development.

The candidate will be responsible for software development, configuration, integration, debugging, and testing of embedded applications and low-level MCU software.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain embedded software for automotive MCU platforms.
Work on NXP Microcontrollers and related peripheral modules.
Develop software using Embedded C.
Perform MCU peripheral configuration, integration, and debugging.
Work with AUTOSAR MCAL / BSW components, if applicable.
Analyze software requirements and convert them into technical/software designs.
Perform coding, debugging, unit testing, integration testing, and issue resolution.
Debug embedded software using tools such as CANoe, Lauterbach, GDB, or equivalent.
Work with automotive communication protocols such as CAN / LIN / SPI / I2C / UART.
Collaborate with system, hardware, and validation teams.
Analyze defects and implement corrective actions.
Follow automotive software development processes and coding standards.
