Job summary

HL Mando Softtech in India seeks an experienced embedded software engineer to design and implement automotive-grade software. You will work on embedded C firmware, AUTOSAR, and MATLAB-based tools to support brake control and chassis ECU development.

The role requires at least 4 years of embedded experience, strong knowledge of control logic, and hands-on experience with CAN, SPI, and UART peripherals in an automotive context.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of embedded software experience, preferably in automotive.
• Experience in AUTOSAR architecture.
• Experience in brake control related software is a plus.
• Knowledge of microcontroller peripherals.
• Experience with MATLAB development.
• Ability to analyze customer specifications and prepare software requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop firmware using Embedded C.
• Work with AUTOSAR architecture and workflow.
• Contribute to Brake Control Logic, ABS, ESC, and MOCI related software.
• Develop MATLAB components for engineering tasks.
• Implement AUTOSAR BSW, CAN, and Diag software.
• Analyze customer specifications and draft software requirements.
• Prepare software development plans using WBS.
• Design and document software with UML (block/sequence/state diagrams).
• Review software designs for quality and safety checklists.
• Contribute to chassis ECU software development.
• Ensure debugging to resolve issues.

Main Responsibilities

• Firmware development using Embedded C.
• Experience in AUTOSAR architecture and development workflow
• Experience in Brake Control Logic, ABS, ESC, Pressure, MOCI.
• Experience in Matlab development.
• Experience in AUTOSAR BSW,CAN and Diag SW
• Experience in analyzing customer specification and preparation of software requirement specification.
• Experience in preparing software development plan using WBS.
• Experience in software design and documentation using UML diagrams (Block diagram, Sequence diagram, State machine, State transition diagram, Data flow diagram)
• Experience in software design and code review based on quality and safety process checklists.
• Experience in Chassis ECU SW development.
• Ensuring SW debugging to resolve any issue.

Mandatory- Embedded C, Control Logic, Matlab, Autosar BSW & MCAL, Diagnostic and Failsafe development

Requirements:

• Degree in electronics or equivalent software engineering experience.
• Minimum 4 years of embedded SW experience, preferably in automotive industry.
• Good knowledge of Control Logic Development.
• Good knowledge of Matlab Development.
• Good knowledge of AUTOSAR architecture.
• Working knowledge of Microcontroller peripherals like ADC, Timer, GPIO, interrupt, CAN, SPI, UART etc.
• Experience with Infineon/NXP controller, Brake Application SW Development is also a plus.
