Job summary

BMW TechWorks India Private Limited in Pune is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to drive development, integration and release of AUTOSAR-based software for Battery Management and DCDC converter.

You will implement CI/CD pipelines, align processes with central CI teams, and ensure robust builds for testbenches and vehicles. Requires fluent English and German, plus a relevant engineering degree and 2–4 years of experience.

Qualifications

• University degree in computer science, electronic engineering or similar.
• Expert knowledge in CI systems and cloud based build environments (Zuul, Bazel, Github, ansible).
• Experience with modern cloud technologies.
• Expert knowledge with AUTOSAR System Software and Build/Config Environment.
• Knowledge in Software for Embedded Systems and C programming.
• Business-fluent English and German is required.

Responsibilities

• The focus of this position is the final project specific configuration, integration and software build of the release software for the Battery Management System and the DCDC converter.
• You will take over responsibility in the team to ensure the CI process is in strong alignment with the central CI development team that defines and develops the future of BMW's software integration development process and integration environment.
• You create, maintain and configure CI-jobs and build scripts that facilitate efficient software development processes
• You support the development team with any build or CI related issue that arises
• You will be seen as a software expert that ensures the periodic software releases for the inhouse development on testbenches as well as in vehicles.
