Job summary

Saaki Argus And Averil Consulting is seeking an experienced embedded software specialist for automotive ECUs in Chennai. You will work on BSW/Platform software, AUTOSAR BSW architecture, and Embedded C across CAN, LIN, SAE J1939, and other protocols.

Role requires hands-on debugging, config and integration of AUTOSAR BSW modules, bootloader integration, and adherence to MISRA/ASPICE standards with ISO 26262 and ISO 21434 awareness.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in BSW / Base Software / Platform Software development for Automotive ECUs.
• Extensive development experience in Classic AUTOSAR BSW architecture and Embedded C.
• Strong expertise in developing, configuring, integrating and debugging AUTOSAR BSW modules.
• Proficiency in Embedded C and microcontrollers S32K / Renesas RH850.
• Hands-on development experience in CAN, UDS/Diagnostics, DEM, NvM, MPU, Reset Manager, Custom Scheduler and Safe OS.
• Experience in Fault Handler, EOL and EDR module development.
• Bootloader integration and ECU software integration.
• Strong knowledge of CAN, LIN, SAE J1939, SPI and Quad SPI communication protocols.
• Experience in debugging, root-cause analysis and issue resolution using embedded tools.
• Strong understanding of AUTOSAR, MISRA, ASPICE and Agile development methodologies.
• Good working knowledge of ISO 26262 Functional Safety and ISO 21434 Automotive Cybersecurity.
• Ability to translate customer requirements and specifications into software solutions.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams and customer-facing discussions.
