Role summary

The role involves working with microcontrollers, writing efficient firmware in C/C++, implementing it in real time systems and debugging it. This role is suitable for someone with system level integration of embedded systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or an equivalent degree.

What you’ll do and need

• Develop embedded firmware on bare metal with C/C++.
• Interface and integrate multi-modal sensors (IMUs, pressure sensors, GNSS receivers, and others) and actuation systems.
• Strong debugging skills across both firmware and hardware layers — able to trace and resolve issues that span embedded code, power systems, signal integrity, and component-level behavior.
• Experience with performance optimization, unit testing and using laboratory instrumentation (oscilloscope, voltmeters, multimeter, etc.).
• Design and implement low-level drivers for communication protocols (UART, SPI, I²C, PWM, DMA) with a focus on non-blocking, resource-efficient execution.
• Familiarity with the use of HALs, Structures and pointers and Makefile: Build automation tool for managing the build process.
• Conduct hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing and bench validation to ensure robustness under real-world conditions.
• Collaborate on system-level integration, ensuring firmware, electronics, and mechanical subsystems interact seamlessly.
