Job summary

The BrimincSoftech is seeking an experienced Embedded Firmware Tester to validate firmware on Linux and RTOS platforms. You will develop automated tests in Python, build PyTest-based frameworks, and ensure robust firmware releases.

You will perform both manual and automated testing, debug issues, and work closely with development teams to improve quality. The role emphasizes reusable Python scripts and strong knowledge of embedded hardware environments.

Qualifications

• Strong Python programming with solid OOP fundamentals.
• Hands-on embedded firmware testing experience.
• Experience testing firmware on Linux and RTOS environments.
• Proficient with PyTest for automation tests.

Responsibilities

• Perform embedded firmware testing across Linux and RTOS-based systems.
• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using Python and PyTest.
• Execute manual and automated firmware test cases to validate functionality.
• Analyze firmware behavior, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams.
• Develop reusable Python automation scripts following OOP principles.
• Participate in test planning, test case design, and test execution activities.
• Ensure test coverage across system, integration, and regression testing.
• Document test results, defects, and test procedures clearly.
