About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Embedded Test Engineer with 4+ years of experience in embedded systems testing, quality assurance, and end-to-end system integration testing. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Python-based test automation, embedded testing, Selenium, integration testing, and HIL/SIL environments.
Required Technical Skills
- 4+ years of experience in Embedded Systems Testing, QA, and System Integration Testing.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python for test automation.
- Experience with automation frameworks such as PyTest, Robot Framework, or similar.
- Proven experience with Selenium.
- Experience with subsystem validation, defect analysis, and release quality assurance.
- Hands-on experience with integration test benches, simulators, HIL/SIL environments, and debugging tools.
- Knowledge of embedded communication protocols such as:
- Experience with version control systems such as Git and Bitbucket.
- Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools, particularly Jenkins.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform embedded systems testing, system integration testing, and subsystem validation.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python.
- Build and execute automation frameworks using tools such as PyTest, Robot Framework, etc.
- Perform end-to-end integration testing across embedded systems and subsystems.
- Design, execute, and maintain test cases and test scenarios.
- Work with HIL/SIL environments, test benches, simulators, and debugging instruments.
- Perform defect identification, analysis, troubleshooting, and root-cause investigation.
- Validate system behavior across different integration and testing environments.
- Support release quality assurance and ensure products meet defined quality standards.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with embedded software developers, system engineers, and other QA/test teams.
- Maintain test documentation, test reports, and defect tracking information.
