Job summary

ID Tech Solutions Pvt Ltd in Gurugram seeks a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer with hands-on firmware and hardware integration expertise. You will design and implement MCU-based systems, develop device drivers, and work across cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end embedded solutions in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years in embedded systems, strong RTOS/bare-metal knowledge, and practical debugging experience with oscilloscopes and JTAG.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
• 8–10 years of embedded systems design and development experience.
• Experience with RTOS and bare-metal environments.
• Proficiency with communication protocols: I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, USB, Modbus.
• Hands-on experience with schematic-level hardware debugging.
• Familiarity with MCU families like STM32, NXP Kinetis, MSP430, ESP32.
• Experience with tools such as Keil, IAR, Eclipse, Altium Designer, Oscilloscope, Multimeter, JTAG/SWD.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware for microcontrollers.
• Develop and integrate device drivers, communication stacks, RTOS-based and bare-metal applications.
• Optimize embedded code for performance, power, and memory.
• Perform unit testing, code reviews, and ensure coding standards compliance (MISRA-C).
• Implement bootloaders, BSPs, and secure firmware update mechanisms.
• Collaborate with hardware teams to define system architecture and integration.
• Bring up new hardware boards including hardware testing and validation.
• Document hardware interfaces and BOM evaluations.

Requirements
