Job summary

HARMAN is seeking an embedded software engineer in Pune to design and develop high‑quality software for tractor automation. You will work in an Agile Scrum team, interact with customers to resolve technical issues, and contribute to documentation and payload/build generation.

The role requires 3–5 years of embedded experience, strong C programming skills, and familiarity with SIL environments and standard protocols (RS-232, I2C, SPI, CAN).

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in embedded software development.
• Good programming skills in C language.
• Experience in SW integration, payload/build generation.
• Knowledge of SIL environments.
• Knowledge of microprocessors/microcontrollers and circuits.
• Exposure to RS-232, I2C, SPI, CAN protocols.
• Awareness of Embedded Software Development Life Cycle.

Responsibilities

• Design/Develop Embedded Software with on-time, high-quality deliverables.
• Prepare and maintain design, code and test documentation; review work with Team Lead.
• Work in an Agile Scrum Team.
• Interact with customers at the unit to resolve software issues.
• Understand project timelines and ensure delivery for tractor platforms.
• Develop embedded software for Tractor Automation across Utility, mid & large tractors.
