Job summary

Overture Rede seeks EM Simulation Engineers to support electromagnetic studies at DMSRDE, Kanpur. You will develop 2D/3D models, create setups, perform numerical and analytical simulations, and prepare technical reports based on simulation results.

The role requires 1 year of relevant experience and familiarity with materials studies, modelling and simulation. Tools include MATLAB, Simulink, ANSYS, COMSOL, CST Microwave Studio. On-site at DMSRDE, Kanpur.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
• Basic knowledge of materials/materialsimulation studies.
• Experience or working knowledge of modelling and simulation.
• Exposure to commercial simulation/software tools such as: MATLAB, Simulink, ANSYS, COMSOL, CST Microwave Studio.

Responsibilities

• Develop 2D/3D models for RADAR absorbing structures.
• Perform geometrical design of complex components/structures for material performance.
• Create simulation setups for evaluating electromagnetic properties.
• Run simulations using established analytical models and numerical methods.
• Analyze parameters such as RCS, Scattering Cross Section, electromagnetic efficiency, and radiation/field patterns.
• Work with different electromagneticsimulation methodologies and solvers.
• Prepare approximately 2 technical reports per month based on study requirements.
• Prepare and present simulation results in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint formats.
• Maintain raw and post-processed simulation results and documentation.

About the Role

We are looking for EM SimulationEngineers to support electromagnetic simulation studies involvingRADAR absorbing structures, complex components, materials andelectromagnetic performance analysis at DMSRDE, Kanpur.

The selectedcandidates will be responsible for developing 2D/3D simulationmodels, creating simulation setups, executing numerical/analyticalsimulations and preparing technical reports based on simulationresults.

KeyResponsibilities

Develop 2D/3D models for RADARAbsorbing Structures, with a target of approximately 5 models permonth.

Perform geometrical design of complexcomponents/structures for studying material performance.

Create simulation setups for evaluatingvarious electromagnetic properties.

Run simulations using established analyticalmodels and numerical methods.

Analyze parameters such as:

RADAR Cross Section (RCS)

Scattering Cross Section

Electromagnetic efficiency

Radiation/field patterns

Coupling effects

Induced currents

Work with different electromagneticsimulation methodologies and solvers.

Analyze simulation results and preparetechnical conclusions.

Prepare approximately 2 technical reportsper month, based on study requirements.

Prepare and present simulation results in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint formats.

Maintain raw and post-processed simulationresults and associated technical documentation.

Educational Qualification

B.Tech. / M.Sc. in:

Electronics & Communication Engineering

Computer Science Engineering

M.Tech./ Ph.D.

Required Skills & Experience
