Job summary

CADFEM APAC is seeking an enthusiastic engineer to support high-frequency electromagnetic simulation engagements across Pune and Western India. You will collaborate with customers, application engineers, and business development to address RF, microwave, antenna, radar, EMC/EMI, and mobility systems challenges, while crafting workflows and demonstration materials for workshops, webinars, and events. You will stay updated on EVs, autonomous systems, and aerospace/defense tech trends.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in ECE or equivalent is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of core electronics concepts is required.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand HF electromagnetic simulation needs in aerospace, defense, and automotive sectors.
• Support technical discussions, demonstrations, and concept studies for RF, microwave, antennas, radar and EMC/EMI applications.
• Develop tailored demonstration workflows and technical collateral for industry events and webinars.
• Collaborate with sales, application engineering and BD teams to drive customer success and solution adoption.
• Deliver post-sales technical support and maintain thorough activity reports and engagement Records.

To support technical engagements, application engineering, and pre-sales activities for High-Frequency Electromagnetic(HF) simulation solutions, focusing on Aerospace & Defense (A&D) organizations and Automotive OEMs/Tier-1suppliers across Pune and Western India. The role requires close collaboration with customers, application engineers, and business development teams to address challenges related to RF, microwave, antenna, radar, EMC/EMI, and connected mobility systems.

• Technical Customer Engagement
• Support technical discussions with Aerospace & Defense organizations, automotive Tier-2 suppliers, and research institutions.
• Assist in identifying customer engineering challenges and aligning them with simulation-driven solutions.
• Participate in technical presentations, workshops, proof-of-concept studies, and customer demonstrations.
• Support customer evaluations and benchmarking activities for high-frequency applications.
• Aerospace & Defense Industry Support
• Assist engagements with defense laboratories, aerospace organizations, missile and radar development agencies, and private defense manufacturers.
• Develop demonstration workflows tailored to aerospace and defense applications.
• Automotive Industry Support
• Support technical engagements with automotive manufacturers and suppliers across Pune's automotive ecosystem.
• Support adoption of simulation-driven development methodologies for next-generation mobility platforms.
• Technical Marketing & Knowledge Development
• Assist in organizing customer workshops, webinars, seminars, and technology days.
• Develop technical collateral including:
• Application notes
• Whitepapers
• Demonstration models
• Industry-specific solution presentations
• Support participation in aerospace, defense, and automotive industry events.
• Work closely with the sales team to ensure timely support to existing customers.
• Support technical preparations to be utilized during webinars, seminars, and customer-facing events, and deliver the same whenever required.
• Maintain customer engagement records and technical activity reports.
• Learning & Competency Development
• Complete structured training and certification programs on high-frequency electromagnetics and multiphysics simulation.
• Stay updated on emerging trends in EV development, autonomous systems, sustainable mobility, Aerospace & Defense applications, and associated technological advancements.
