Job summary

Embitel Technologies in India is seeking an Automotive Cybersecurity Engineer to work on secure vehicle functions, in-vehicle networks, and ECUs. You will contribute to security plans and risk analyses aligned with ISO 21434, and collaborate with security architects to integrate cybersecurity features into vehicles.

You should have a strong background in electrical engineering or mechatronics and proven experience in automotive cybersecurity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field.
• Proven experience in automotive cybersecurity domain.
• Working with Embitel.

Job Description

Short Description : Hands on knowledge on automotive vehicle functions, in-vehicle networks, communication protocols (UDS, CAN, CAN FD, Ethernet), and electronic control units. Well versed & experienced with vehicle security measures. Process knowledge of secure development process and necessary activities. Knowledge of performance of activities like security relevance assessments, threat and risk analysis, definition of security plans, documentation of activities on risk acceptance/mitigation, test documentation, preparation of security cases for homologation and external authorities. Expert in automotive cybersecurity standards – ISO 21434

1. Hands on knowledge on automotive vehicle functions, in-vehicle networks, communication protocols (UDS, CAN, CAN FD, Ethernet), and electronic control units.
2. Well versed & experienced with vehicle security measures.
3. Process knowledge of secure development process and necessary activities.
4. Knowhow of automotive cybersecurity standards – ISO 21434
5. Knowledge on vehicle EE architectures.

Responsibilities

1. Create Item definition, TARA for Truck & Buses EE Systems.
2. Develop Cybersecurity concepts.
3. Perform cybersecurity requirement elicitation.
4. Perform Cybersecurity vulnerability analysis.
5. Further, your work together with the security architects of the other components and the overall vehicle to ensure a working and effective integration of the component and its security features into the vehicle.
