Job summary

Kriya Tech in India is seeking a hands-on Product Validation team member to support testing of electric vehicle components. You will collaborate with hardware and software testing experts to develop manual and automated test environments and test cases for core EV components, and run tests through the product development life cycle to identify defects for design improvement.

Qualifications

• Must have strong electrical/electronics fundamentals.
• Knowledge of embedded hardware and power electronics.
• Be prepared to get hands dirty with ownership towards goals.
• Handling measurement instruments, test equipment and environmental chambers.
• Knowledge about soldering.
• Knowledge of basic electronic circuits (Op-amps, filters, current sense, temperature measurement).
• Familiar with Microcontroller/Microprocessor/DSP architecture.

Responsibilities

• Prepare test setup/fixtures for DVP and EVT tests in accordance with safety standards.
• Execute DVP and EVT as per planned procedures.
• Identify bugs in a design during each phase and report them comprehensively.
• Generate test reports.
• Operate EMI/EMC and Safety test equipment as per standards.
• Prepare vehicles for testing.
• Build & rework on box build assemblies, PCB with SMD and through-hole components for testing.
• Test setup/test equipment/measurements instruments maintenance.
• Ability to read and understand drawings.
• Lab inventory management.
• RCA support.

Job description

You will be an integral part of the Product Validation team. You will work closely with the hardware and software testing experts/specialists to understand the products specifications/features and then support testing team to develop Manual/Automated test environments and test cases for core components of electric vehicle .You will run a series of tests through all stages of the product development life cycle process to identify defects for design improvement.

Operational activities:

• Preparing test setup/fixtures for DVP and EVT tests in accordance with safety standards.
• Execute DVP and EVT as per planned Procedures
• Identifying bugs in a design during each phase of product development life cycle and reporting bugs in a comprehensive manner
• Test report generation.
• Operating EMI/EMC and Safety test equipments as per recommended standards
• Vehicle preparations for testing
• Build & Rework on the Box build assemblies, PCB with SMD and through hole components for testing.
• Test setup/Test Equipments/Measurements instruments maintenance.
• Ability to read and understand drawings.
• Lab Inventory management
• RCA support

Experience Required:

• Keep your electrical and electronics fundamentals strong
• Knowledge of embedded hardware and power electronics
• Be prepared to get your hands dirty. Have a sense of complete ownership towards your goals.
• Handling measurement instruments, test equipments and environmental chambers
• Knowledge about Soldering
• Knowledge of Basic Electronic circuits (such as based on Opamp, Filters, Current sense circuits, temperature measurement devices and circuits, etc)
