Job summary

Quest Global in Bengaluru, Karnataka is seeking an experienced Senior Physical Design Engineer with strong background in Digital Electronics and tapeout. You will work on block-level physical design, PnR cycles, and signoff readiness for advanced nodes.

The role requires 12+ years, hands-on with ICC2/Innovus and signoff tools like PrimeTime and Calibre, plus leadership of a 10–15 person team through 3nm tapeouts. Excellent communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with physical design of blocks and PnR cycles.
• Strong knowledge of digital electronics fundamentals.
• Experience with tapeout using ICC2/Innovus and signoff tools.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Experience guiding a 10–15 engineer team.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 10-15 engineers on block-level physical design.
• Hands-on work with ICC2/Innovus and related PnR tools.
• Proficient in signoff tools like PrimeTime and Calibre/RedHawk.
• Drive tapeout activities for 3nm node technology.
• Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to design challenges.

Good at the basics of Digital Electronics.

Good Implementation, STA and Physical Verification skills.

Experience in tapeout using the implementation tools: icc2/fusion Compiler, signoff tools: PT.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Excellent communication skills.

Physical design of block level with full understanding of PnR cycle.

Good understanding of Physical design fundamentals

• Good hands-on experience on industry standard pnr tools like ICC2/Innovus
• Good understanding on signoff tool like Prime time , Redhawk and calibre
• experience in working on 3nm
• experience in leading a team of 10-15 engineers
