Job summary

Kennametal Stellite Inc. in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Electromechanical Assembler to perform sub-assembly, assembly and installation at customer sites.

The role requires hands-on skills with SPMs, VTLs, and tool & cutter grinders, and involves reading part and assembly drawings and ensuring layout accuracy. The ideal candidate has 6–8 years of ITI-level experience, familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, coolant systems, and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Hands-on 6–8 years experience for ITI candidates in sub-assembly and assembly of SPMs, VTLs and tool & cutter grinders.
• Ability to understand part drawings, assembly drawings and machine layout.
• Knowledge of geometrical accuracies such as straightness, squareness, concentricity, TIR and parallelism.
• Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, coolant systems and circuits.
• Basic knowledge of drills and taps, metric and BSP sizes.
• Fundamentals of safety and PPE.

Desired skills and Experience:

• Should have 6 to 8 years of hands on experience for ITIs candidates in sub-assembly, assembly of Special Purpose Machines, VTLs, Tool & Cutter Grinders.
• Basic knowledge & exposure to Machine Sub-assemblies like Spindle, Slide, Column, Feed drive, Rotary tables, Gear boxes, work handling etc.,
• Hands on scrapping experience
• Ability to understand part drawings, assembly drawings & machine layout
• Knowledge of Geometrical accuracies like straightness, squareness, concentricity, TIR, parallelism, measuring instruments etc.,
• Basic knowledge of Hydraulics, Pneumatics , Coolant systems & circuits
